Our approach

The hotel is committed to the obligations of the Türkiye Sustainable Tourism Programme and to continually improving its sustainable management system. The system is based on risk analyses covering the environment, natural disasters, society, culture, the economy, quality, human rights, health and safety, and runs on a Plan–Do–Check–Act cycle.

A sustainability team and an officer responsible for communication with the local community have been appointed. Feedback received through guest surveys, social media and email is recorded and reviewed.

Environment: energy, water and waste

Energy use is measured and monitored by type, with low-consumption equipment, LED lighting and thermal insulation. Taps have been fitted with flow adjustment, and linen and towels are changed at the guest’s request. Waste is separated by type and collected by licensed companies. Rooms and minibars have switched to glass bottles.

Local community and cultural heritage

Local producers are preferred in purchasing: 260 of the 277 approved suppliers are local. As a team we regularly clean the streets around the hotel, and we take part in meetings with hoteliers’ associations, the municipality and neighbourhood heads on issues affecting the area. We share with guests the rules of conduct for cultural heritage sites, natural areas and places of worship.

Our people

In 2025 the hotel employed 34 people. An annual training plan covers health and safety, hygiene, water and energy saving, chemical use, fire safety and first aid, and all training materials are freely available to employees.

Certificates

Zero Waste Certificate (basic level, 03.11.2023 – 03.11.2028) · Tourism Operation Certificate (private accommodation facility) · Class C energy performance certificates for the buildings concerned (valid until 2030).
