Royan Hotels is a family business of two hotels and a restaurant in Cankurtaran, in Istanbul’s Sultanahmet district. We opened Royan Suites in 2018 and, in 2022, Royan Hotel Hagia Sophia, a member of Radisson Individuals. Inside the hotel, Cisterna Brasserie welcomes guests to an 8th-century Byzantine cistern.
During the construction of Royan Hotel Hagia Sophia, an 8th-century Byzantine cistern came to light. Its wall has been preserved and is on display today, and it sets the atmosphere of Cisterna Brasserie.
The hotel opened in 2022 as the first Radisson Individuals member in Türkiye. Royan Suites has welcomed guests in the same neighbourhood, on Akbıyık Street, since 2018, with seven suites.

Royan Hotels
With more than 25 years of management experience in real estate and construction, Fatih Gedikli has led many corporate construction projects, the Royan hotels among them. Drawing on his background in investment and project development, he guides the growth of Royan Hotels with an approach centred on architectural quality and lasting value.
Passionate about tourism, Fırat Gedikli leads Royan Hotels with a guest-focused, innovative approach. He has built his hospitality expertise through AHLEI’s Hospitality Manager: Leadership programme, hotel management training, and leadership and guest-experience training at Radisson. A board member of MPI Türkiye and a member of Skål International, he values collaboration across the industry and believes that success rests on a strong team and genuine hospitality.
A gastronomy graduate, Burak Gedikli is responsible for purchasing and food and beverage operations at Royan Hotels. He combines his knowledge of gastronomy with product quality, careful presentation and attentive service, contributing to the guest experience at our hotels and at Cisterna Brasserie. From sourcing to the table, he keeps quality and consistency first.
